Celebrating 2022 with Dio Cycling
It's been a long and difficult two years for restaurants everywhere – especially with the onset of COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent restriction on gatherings. Last November, as restrictions ease, Snö finally hosted our first private function in two years. It was a small, intimate end-of-year gathering for the cycling team at Diocesan School and their families, but it felt like a major milestone for us.
The group at Dio Cycling opted for a 3-course dinner on a lovely Sunday evening.
This included a bread platter for starters, a main course (choice of ‘Whole’some Chicken Salad, Mushroom & Rösti Stack, Swedish Meatballs, or Four Cheese Steak Burger with fries), and a dessert (Brownie with ice cream or Basque Burnt Cheesecake with whipped cream).
Drinks were purchased as add-ons during the event.
The event was a great success, and we received plenty of positive feedback from our guests. It served as a timely reminder that even in the midst of a pandemic, the human connection and shared experience of a meal still has the power to bring people together and offer joy.
This was the Dio Cycling team’s second time hosting a private function with us, and we are grateful to our guests for their support and loyalty. We can't wait to welcome the team back to our restaurant for their next event, as well as look forward to hosting more private functions with other guests in the coming year.
