Summer Menu 2023

Experience a Swedish summer in Auckland, but with a twist! This season’s specials feature reimagined Swedish summer classics, where we went a little more experimental than usual through the fusion of Swedish summer core ingredients (think: strawberries, chilled soup, Swedish hash) with unexpected flavours.

Our Summer Stunners menu will be available from Thursday, 1 December 2022 until the end of March 2023.

Strawberry Chocolate Hotcake ($26)

Strawberries (and pancakes!) are extremely popular in Sweden throughout the summer, and we really wanted to incorporate them into our seasonal menu this year. The Strawberry Chocolate Hotcake is anything but ordinary – with a thick baked chocolate hotcake as the base, layered with melted brie, house-made strawberry chocolate sauce and fresh strawberries for a decadent sweet and savoury touch, and topped with a meringue, more fresh strawberries, and house-made strawberry compote for a sweet bite,

Tuna Tartare Soba in Kall Gurksoppa ($27)

Kall gurksoppa, or cold cucumber soup, is a refreshing Swedish summer soup. Made with cucumber, coconut yogurt, dill, coriander mint and other herbs – our version of the kall soppa is vegan and dairy-free. Served chilled with soba (buckwheat noodles) and sesame yellowfin tuna tartare, this is a dish made for sweltering summer days.

Vegan option available with grilled asparagus & dukkah instead of tuna tartare.

Wagyu Patty with Swedish Hash ($27)

Swedish hash, also known as pytt i panna (literally, “pieces in a pan”), is a popular every-day Swedish dish made of potatoes, leftover meat, and fried egg. Our summer stunners version features a fried egg, wagyu patty, gluten-free crackers, spiced Swedish hash, atop of avocado & dill sour cream.

Choose from our range of refreshing iced drinks this summer too. This includes the Daily Organics Kombucha ($7.5) – a classic option, Iced Söderblandning Tea ($9) – our take on a well-loved Swedish beverage, and Summer Cocktails ($14.5) – for the ones who love themselves a boozy summer brunch.

Iced Söderblandning Tea ($9)

We first introduced Söderblandning tea, a Swedish blend of florals and fruits, last winter. This summer’s version of Iced Söderblandning Tea is cold brewed for 12 hours with fresh oranges – intensifying the citrus flavour while preserving the flavour of the tea.

Summer Cocktails ($14.5)

These Insta-worthy cocktails include your choice of house-made syrup, single shot of Bacardi rum and soda water. Available flavours include Cucumber, Grapefruit and Strawberry.
